Coming from the south of France it is a stump that adapted with easiness to different climates and altitudes and they can be elaborated from fresh wines and frutados with floral shades, until the most complex and voluminous in mouth, with the contribution of the oak.
In spite of being native from France , today they exist few cultivated hectares there, essentially in the valley of the Rodano, én Condrieu. It appeared in Argentina in the decade of the ninety and it produces wines with aromas intense mixture of flowers and fruits difficult to define.
Argentina doesn't dedicate big cultivation extensions for this variety, but in the market they are excellent exponents varietales, coming overalls of province Mendoza and San Juan . |
