Chardonnay

It is the good known one in the world. Native of the Bourgogne , in France , gives wines of very good quality and his plant adapted to all the regions. Their aromatic characteristics are citric, honey, fresh shortening and sometimes floral notes as the acacia. Everything depends of if the Chardonnay grew more or less in areas cold and of like the underground is. The best areas for their cultivation are in Tupungato, Maipú, Agrelo and San Rafael , in Mendoza , but also in the High Valley of Black River. It is the one that more variations will have in their final pleasure.

It is the white variety more appreciated in the world. It would originate of the Burgundy (France) has adapted with good results in very different places, from the cold climates of the Champagne until the warmest in Australia .

In the cold climates the fruit-bearing notes prevail as the apple and pineapple, in the regions with warmer climate the aromas stand out to tropical fruits. It intervenes in the composition of the best foamy wines in the world. They are wines that usually accept of good grade a fermentation and upbringing in oak and in this case aromas can appear to vanilla, honey and shortening.

Thanks to the versatility of this stump and to the different climates of the areas vitivinícolas, in Argentina we can find this wine in all their forms, from the cool airs and light, until the most complex in guard.

The food

In general they combine very well with white fish, shellfish and white meats. It is also a good option for the vegetarian plates, in this case chooses one that has not had upbringing in wood. A young Chardonnay will accompany a plate of pastas very well.
