The province of Catamarca counts with around 2.200 hectares of vineyards and arbors of table grapes, grape raisins and grapes for common wines and it stops fine wines.

In the east of the Valley of Catamarca, between Tinogasta and Fiambalá, to some 200 kilometers of the frontier with Chile and to around 300 km of the provincial capital, he/she concentrates most of the vineyards and of the cellars, with a surface dedicated to the near fine wine to the 400 hectares.
