The north of the province of Santa Fé is inserted in the region Chaqueña; the rest of the same one, integrates the region Pampeana.

The province of Santa Fé limits to the north with the province of the Chaco; to the east, with Corrientes and Entre Ríos; to the south, with Buenos Aires; and to the west, with Santiago del Estero Tideland and Córdoba. It is a mediterranean province that has exit to the sea for the river Paraná and the river de la Plata.
