To be a province with more extension in the address north-south, Santa Fé presents differentiated climates, the north part has the characteristic chaqueñas with warm climate, annual temperatures whose average is of 21º C and precipitations among 800 and 1.100 annual millimeters that diminish toward the west.
In the south area a temperate climate prevails with characteristic pampeanas: it doesn't register extreme heat neither intense cold.
The humidity is abundant due to the precipitations that are more intense in summer and they fall harmonic and regularly during the whole year. it is necessary to mention, also, other areas that possess different climates.
In the region lindera with Santiago del Estero the tropical climate is presented with dry station; the variation of the temperature is accentuated between the stations and the rains they prevail in summer. The subtropical climate without station dries off it locates in the northeast of the province, where the rains are abundant during the whole year (they overcome the 1.000 millimeters) and there are not big changes in the temperature whose average is of 20º C. |
