In the province stream trouts are obtained of more than 2 kg. Some of the places to arrive to these fishing ones are: for the route Nacional 40, in the area of the station The Horquetas, to 85 km. of Río Gallegos.

One of the most productive places is the outlet of the river it Bounces, located in the route Nº 40 and to 40 km. of El Calafate.

Except for in the very sheltered areas of the mountain range Santa Cruz offers a persistence of strong winds that should be kept in mind for the use of the most advisable fishing teams. |
