As important rivers we can mention: Turbio, Penitente, Rubens, Río Gallegos, as lagoons: Larga lagoon, Chica Lagoon. The allowed fishing modalities are the following ones: Spinning, fly or Flycasp crawl or trolling. In the whole Patagonia they possess sport value and they are subject to the practice of the sport fishing the following species: Contained salmon, brown Trout, stream Trout, lake Trout, Trout rainbow and Salmon of the Pacific.

All the continental mirrors of water, for their physical and chemical conditions have allowed a good development of all the salmónidos species.

If we take like base of our trips the roads that communicate to Río Gallegos with the interior of the province, will mention as starting point the police control of Güer-Aike. It is fished on the Río Gallegos, especially brown trout. From the mentioned point and in route to Turbio River , on the Río Gallegos, they stand out:

• Taking of the gasoducto: to 2,5 km . of the police position.
• Slope of the long bones: to 9,5 km . of the same point mentioned previously.
• Crucecitas: to 12 km . of the police position.
• Bridge Station Gutiérrez: to 60 km . of the police position.
• Bella Vista: distant to 100 km . of the police position, in route to Cloudy River .
• Bridge Blanco, to 187 km. of Rio Gallegos .
• Ríos Penitents and Rubén: to 3 km . of Bridge Blanco.
• Lagoon Larga, to 285 km . of Rio Gallegos.
• Lagoon Esperanza: on the route N° 1707, next to the station Fuentes of the Coyle, it is populated by brown trouts, of an average of 6 kg .

It is composed of countless quantity of streams, of little flow; it possesses in a vast area the calls "pozones" that allow a very good fishing.

There stream trouts are obtained of more than 2 kg . Some of the places to arrive to these fishing ones are: for the national route N° 40, in the area of the station The Horquetas, to 85 km . of Rio Gallegos.

• Area of the Hotel Esperanza : also on the route N° 40, to 150 km . of Rio Gallegos .


• Chorillo Magán : where you arrives taking for the route N° 40, in station Güer-Aike and straying for the provincial route N° 1705 or, for the station San Cristóbal , located in the route N° 40, to 70 km . of Rio Gallegos.
