Puerto Iguazú, Iguazú means "Big Waters" in Guaraní language. It is located to 300 Km to the north of Posadas, it is placed in the frontier with Brazil and Paraguay and in the union of Paraná and Iguazú Rivers.

The main activity of the population is connected with tourism, that is why the hotelery industry is very well developed.

You can visit the Mbororé Museum, the Imágenes de la Selva Museum , the Natural Sciences Museum, the three frontiers landmark and the International Casino.

From the city you can organize tours to the frontier countries and to visit Itaipú Dam, the biggest of the world.

In Ciudad del Este in Alto Paraná Department, is the biggest Latin American Commercial Center. It has more than 10 thousand electronic stores, clothes, drinks, etc, all these things imported from Asia, Europe and North America.

You can also carry out trips inside the province like the Urugua-I, Provincial Park, with 84.000 hectares , a lake and a dam of the same name, the precious Wanda stones locations, Andresito town to 60 Km distance and Puerto Bemberg Museum.
