This picturesque tourist village is located in the northwest area of Corrientes Province; on the Paraná riverbanks and in front of the fork with the Paraguay River.

It is regarded as the National Capital City of the Gilthead Bream fishing. It is an standing out town due to its natural beauties and to its coasts geography.

They are excellent ones to practice nautical sports, mainly fishing. It has a good infrastructure for about 750 tourists. It has hotels, bungalows, huts, several private camping sites and a municipal one.
