It is the entrance door along the National Route nº 12, to the south of the province.
It is located in the fork of the Paraná and Corrientes Rivers.
The city is a colonial one, it has beautiful wide beaches on both rivers.
Its climate and soil are apt to cultivate tobacco and rice, being one of the most productive areas of the country. The city has modern hotels and huts placed on the river coast, where it is possible to find boats, guides, and modern launching pads for crafts.
