Corrientes characteristic climate is the subtropical one without dry season, which predominant feature are the constant and regular rains during the whole year; being the annual ones about 1800mm. In spite of its regularities, most of the rains are in Autumn and Spring.
The temperatures are high ones with reduced annual variation and scarce daily oscillations, due to the air's humidity. Winters are mild, there are sporadic frosts that contribute to reduce the area of the most sensitive vegetable species.
Summers are very hot ones, the temperature usually ascends from the first hours of the day to culminate after noon, being superior to 30º C. The annual average oscillates between 16º C to 21º C. The summery temperature oscillates between 22º C to 30º C and the winter ones are between 10º C to 16º C. |
