The territory of the province of Córdoba is distributed between the mountains pampeanas and the plain pampeana.

The province of Córdoba limits to the north with Catamarca and Santiago del Estero ; to the east, with Santa Fé and Buenos Aires, to the south, with The Pampas; and to the west, with The Rioja and San Luis is understood among the 29º30´ and 35º of south latitude, and the 61º 47' and 65º46´ of longitude west of Greenwich.
