The climate of the county is of continental temperate type. Their climate is strictly mediterranean, with warm summers, not excessively rigorous, and fresh winters. The temperature annual average is understood between 16° and 17°C. The precipitations register fundamentally during the summer, overcoming the annual 800 mm, except in the northwest where the rains don't reach the 200 mm per annum. Due to the combination of different natural elements it is possible to find in the County of Córdoba characteristic regional climates and local particular microclimates .
