The metropolitan area has humid temperate climate, with temperatures stockings that oscillate around the 15° C, being the averages of summer of the order of the 29° C and those of winter of 7° C; presenting you icy in the months of June to August.

The winds that act on the city, come basically from the quadrants North, Northeast, Southwest (Pampero) and Southeast (Sudestada); these two last, when they blow with intensity and during several days, for the effects that take place on the waters of the river of the Silver, they complicate the normal development of the city and their port. The Pampero moves away the waters of the coast hindering the sailing and the provision of water, while the Sudestada takes the liquid mass on the coast causing floods in the lowest areas.

Another characteristic feature of the climate of Buenos Aires, is the existence of a high percentage of humidity during almost the whole year, and that it causes, especially in winter, the formation of fog and fog that affect the normal movement of the traffic, particularly the air one and the sailing in the Silver.
