Climate

The climate of the region is tempered. The moderate temperatures diminish progressively from north to south, and they also vary from east to west. The average summer temperatures reach from 20° to 25°, in winter they are between 7° and 11° C.

As for the rains, they are distributed regularly. The average rainfall is of 800 mm. a year. It is very well-known the pampero wind which blows from the southwest is cold and dry, strong and even violent. It is generally intensified in summer time. The sudestada blows from the Southeast and it comes from the polar masses. When it blows towards the center of the river, the waters are pushed and the Rio de La Plata grows, generating troubles to the riverside inhabitants whose properties get flooded .
