Apart from the protected areas of Lanín National Park , Aluminé has provincial reserve areas such as Chañy Protected Natural Area, and Batea Mahuida Protected Natural Area.

Both paragliding and hang-gliding can be practised in Batea Mahuida volcano, apart from fishing outings in lake Moquehue on route 13, or fly fishing in Quillahue river.

In several lakes and rivers around the city of Aluminé you can go fishing in any of the three modes: trolling, spinning, or fly casting.

Rafting is an excellent activity to perform in Aluminé river, which is irregular and has a big volume of water. Outings can be hired in tourist agencies.
